UPDATE **06/10/11** Facial Roller Massager for Neck and Face

So, it's been about a week and half...almost two weeks, but I wanted to update on the post I did here. I wanted to put up some pictures...since I heard that you should see SOME results after using it for 2 weeks. Here's the pictures...You decide whether or not you see changes...

L-R: Before, 1st Week, two 2nd week pictures (taken same day)

Ok, I should explain the last 2 pictures. The last two pictures were taken the same day. It's just two different angles/positions. The two middle pictures are the same positions/angles and the first and last pictures are almost at the same angle, but different lighting.

I can't say that there's been any progression or improvements. I mean....if you ask me, I would say from the Before picture and the last 2nd week picture...there is...a very subtle, tiny, tiny change. I see a small difference. I asked one of my siblings and they said it all looks the same lol. I agree...but I can see a VERY SMALL change. It's not anything significant...but I DO see a change, whether it be very minute.

There's a lot of inconsistencies with the angle and the lighting, etc. which makes it harder to really analyze changes. Also, some are a fraction more close up/larger image size than others... so that does play into it too.

I don't know how I feel about it...but I do feel that it did work in a VERY small way. I'm willing to go on the rest of the month, I"ll take pictures weekly of the progress.

Also, I did skip two or three days of using the roller, simply because I was either lazy or forgot...or was too busy. I'm sure though two days won't affect the cycle or progress. I mean, it's only ten minutes a day.

anyway, I hope this post helps.

Ott Lite Makeup Mirror Review

I've been using the Ott Lite Makeup Mirror for about a week now and I'm truly in love with it! I purchased it off of Joann.com for half price...which was still expensive. But hey, it was my birthday splurge :) The Ott Lite Makeup Mirror is meant to show colors, skintones and makeup in it's true color and I think it lives up to that claim. I"ll show you a picture of the mirror and my yucky yellow lighting that I had to deal with when putting on makeup:

Yes, yuck, very yellow. The mirror is very big. So not suited for traveling. It only has one On/Off button, no dimmers, nothing. But...I enjoy the brightness of the lights. Even though it is bright, it doesn't wash me out at all! I feel like I am finally seeing my right skintone shade in the mirror. Here's a pic of the mirror with the lights on, as well as my incandescent lights.

It instantly brightened up the lighting and I LOVE IT!!! The colors are coming off really true. Even the color of the product looks true when comparing to the pic above this one.

I also took some pictures of one of my lipsticks to see if the real colored showed.

I think it does a very good job at showing the true colors. The lighting in these pictures are a little dark, but my skintone in them is VERY TRUE to life :)

I've got to say, that this is the best purchase I've ever made, beauty wise. It'll change you're daily routine when putting on makeup!!! :)

First Impressions: Facial Roller Massager for Neck and Face

I recently purchased the Facial Roller Massager for Neck and Face off Amazon.com. I bought it May 31st, 2011 and received it this afternoon. I chose Two Day Shipping which is free, because I have a Prime Student Account. So...yes, VERY fast shipping, plus they were located in NV, and I'm right next door lol! VERY fast shipping. Gotta love Amazon for that.

On to the product, here is the product description:

100% Brand New Facial Massager for the Neck and Face. Natural way to massage your cheeks and chin. Increase the elasticity and tightness of your skin. Chin massager consists of 15 massage pellets and the cheeks massager consists of 15 massage pellets on each side. Massagers can be combined for use or used seperately for massaging other areas of the face such as around the eyes or forehead.

Product Features:

  • Natural way to massage your cheeks and chin
  • Increase the elasticity and tightness of your skin
  • Chin massager consists of 15 massage pellets and the cheeks massager consists of 15 massage pellets on each side
  • Massagers can be combined for use or used seperately for massaging other areas of the face such as around the eyes or forehead
Now...I will comment lol. So, I cannot give a full review, because I barely got this today. But this is just a First Impressions and how the product is doing so far. I've heard that people have seen results in only a week or two, so I might do the full review then. But I was told that in order to see a lot of change, you should continue to use the product for about a month. And I'm willing :)

Here goes: It hurts. It hurts like heck. Especially if you've got a big round face like me!

EXAMPLE:

All I can say is that, my jaw bone was really hurting after using this product. Also, after a couple of minutes of using this, my face got red and I could feel it numb a little bit. When I touch my jaw bone I can feel just near the  middle of the mandible some aching, bruising type feeling. It's not a very good feeling. Maybe I'm using it wrong? I dunno. I know it can't change my jaw bone structure, so I dunno why I freakin' used it there lol. But I do have some fat around those areas so I used it where I thought it could be beneficial. But honestly, it just hurt. The pain is not like agonizing, tear-inducing pain, it's more uncomfortable...Annoying pain. if that makes any sense.
Here's me using it...it barely fits my face lol

I'm really actually worried that I will wake up with bruises tomorrow morning. I hope I don't but I still believe in this product! I will continue to use it, but not near my jaw bone area, no way...The neck massager, is actually quite nice compared to the face massager. The neck messager could possibly be used on it's own to do both neck AND face. I didn't hurt at all to use the neck messager and if the face one breaks or if I quit using it because it hurts to dang much, I might just use the neck messager for slimming my face and neck...

Here's a few images of the product:

the only good thing I can say about this is that it gives  you something to do when you're bored...I used it while watching a movie and it kept me busy. It's an interesting concept and product, but they really need to adjust it for people with larger faces. My face width wise is 6 1/2 inches and my jaw bone is 6 inches. I don't have the normal head size, but I'd like to firm up my face a little more and get rid of the fat. Overall, first impressions...I'm not liking it...but I really want to see what the results will be in a few weeks. If I don't see any results...then I'll stop using it since it hurts incredibly afterwards.

Zipia.net Haul!

I just got my group order from Zipia.net! Hooray! People, when you have the money to buy some amazing cute Korean/Asian clothing/outfits and jewelry, spend it here! Zipia is the best site around, however....the minimum purchase amount is 300 USD. Which sucks, unless, you found a GREAT group to order with. It might be scary going into a group order with strangers, but make sure you get the background information. I went to http://watashipanda.livejournal.com/12233.html to find a group to order from the site. All in all, I didn't have to spend 300 USD, I must have only spent a little over $100. Now, the cons about the website is that, not everything you order is going to be there, I mean that the shirt/blouse/dress/jewelry that you might want, could be sold out. So you have to make sure that everything that you want is available. Two items that I really wanted were sold out, but no biggie, my group order leader refunded me my money back:)

So...onto the haul. I originally wanted 6 items, but again two of my items were sold out. So I ended up with only 4 items. The first item that I immediately opened was my Rose Motive Ring in Red, style One.

Then I saw my tiny heart necklace and I melted! It's so tiny and adorable! Can't wait to wear it out!

The next two items are clothing! I bought this really cute t-shirt with a zipper detailing on the pocket. Super cute and tom-boyish!
The last thing that I bought was a super soft and warm hoodie! I kind of wished I got it in a different color, or that Zipia offered a different letter color. The green kind of looked "dirty" lol. I like grey hoodies, but the color of the letter is "meh". Either way, I'll still wear it out :)
That was my haul! I hope you enjoyed it and I really hope you all take advantage of group orders! They're fun and easy and what's best is that you don't have to do anything except pay. Super great experience and I hope you all enjoyed :)

Review: Loreal True Match Roller Foundation

L'Oréal True Match Roller Foundation in W1-2 Porcelain/Light Ivory

The L'Oréal True Match Roller Foundation is a pricey drugstore foundation at a whopping $14.99. This covers amazingly well, I only wished I had gotten the right color for me, but I still saw how it covered fully. Now, on the L'Oréal website, it says that the Finish is Natural. I would give that an almost true observation. However, the "handy dandy" roller applicator can immediately change the finish from "Natural" to "Cakey and Heavy-Looking".

The key on how to use the applicator is to not overdo the layering of the foundation. Below the following image, you will find a link on "How to Apply the True Match Roller".

Click Here to Watch 'How To Apply the True Match Roller"

When I applied on the foundation, I did have a problem with layering and layering the foundation (which is not advised). It left me feeling like I was wearing a mask and even when I did apply a powder over it, it still felt very dewey with a slightly heavy feel.

I will say that this foundation gives very Full coverage, but if you're willing to deal with touching up throughout the day but still want to maintain that flawless look, the L'Oréal True Match Roller Foundation is for you!

This foundation is suitable to wear outside because it has an SPF of 25. However, it is not suitable for photoshoots, as SPF in foundations can make you appear ghostly or "whiter" in photographs. I will say this foundation does even the skintone very well and if you look back at my pictures, you'll see that most of the redness is gone.

The only other con to the product is the "revolutionary applicator". It really hurts trying to apply the foundation. I didn't like the way it felt rolling onto my skin. Maybe, it's just me, or I apply to abrasively on myself, but it felt really uncomfortable. I'd say there are more cons than pros, but the pros outweigh the cons, in my opinion.

For The Price:
Maybe, it depends if you're willing to pull out the dough!

   For The Quality:

Yes, the coverage is great, but not giving it full 4 thumbs up because of the
applicator and finish of the foundation.

  Overall:
 2.5/5
Try It!

Again, every person's experience with this foundation will vary. I like that it gives full coverage, but the formula for long-lasting wear and finish must be fixed!
Until Next Time,
